Portugal Business Visitor Visa  

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum three months (from the date of return) and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.

• a) Copy of pages of passport containing personal information and also pages providing important travel information

• b) Attach all your old passports (if any)

Portugal Visa Application Form

Photo Specification: Two recent passport size color photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm) 

​Covering Letter : Covering-letter from applicant on company’s letter head mentioning the designation, passport number, current profile, purpose of visit ,itinerary, name and contacts of the company in Portugal. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Portugal, New Delhi.

Invitation Letter: Original/ Scanned Invitation Letter from Portugal host / inviting Company on its letter head in Portuguese language. 

• a) Other Correspondences showing prior dealings with Portuguese Counterpart (if any) 

• b) Sponsorship Letter from host (“Termo de Responsibilities) undertaking responsibilities for the boarding, lodging and repatriation, if required

Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary

Proof of Accommodation : Hotel Confirmation for the entire period of stay as per the tour itinerary 

​Please Note Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Portugal

Medical : Original Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros.

Financials 

• a) Personal ITR for last 3 years 

• b) Bank Statement for last three months 

• c) Copy of Pan Card

• d) Three months salary slip (If Employed)

Proof of Occupation 

• a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation 

• b) Brief Company Profile

​For First Time Traveler (Following documents apart from the above mentioned documents need to be submitted along with the application) 

• a) Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director) 

• b) Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm) 

• c) Import / Export License (if applicable) 

• d) Ownership proof

Please Note: 

• a) Prior booking of appointment for submission is mandatory. We advise you to send your application well in advance so that we can arrange for an appointment for timely processing of your visa

• b) Applicants holding valid USA and/or UK visa and have already travelled to Schengen in the past require a gap of minimum 05 working days in advance for the processing of the applications.

• c) For those applicants who have never travelled to Schengen/USA/UK require a gap of minimum 10 working days for the processing of the applications.

The applications that do not meet the timelines mentioned above point (b) & (c) will not be accepted by VFS. The timelines will start when the application reaches embassy and not VFS.
