Canada PR : Federal Skilled Trades Program

The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for the applicants who are skilled trade workers and wish to migrate to Canada permanently after receiving an offer of employment. The FSTP Class applications are processed through the online selection system of Express Entry which became effective from January 2015 for Canada immigration.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Intends to live in any state apart from Quebec.

• Meets minimum language requirement of (CLB) 5 for speaking and listening, and CLB 4 for reading and writing.

• Should have at least 2 years of full time working experience in the nominated occupation in the past 5 years before applying.

• Should have their job listed in in National Occupational Classification (NOC) list

• Have an offer of full-time employment for a entire period of at least one year or a certificate of qualification.
