USA H4 Partner and Dependent Visa Process & Document Checklist

A Dependent or Partner Visa is issued to individuals who are family members of U.S citizens or of foreigners with U.S permanent residence/Work Permit and intend to go to U.S for family reunion or to stay for a limited period of time. If you are the principal holder of a valid H visa, your spouses, and/or unmarried children (under age 21) may receive an H-4 visa to accompany you to the United States.

Applicant’s Document Checklist for Partner / Dependent H4 Visa

Passport
Marriage Proof ( if spouse is migrating)
Birth Certificates of children (original) for dependent visa
If working/worked, need to provide employment proofs

Inviter/Sponser Document Checklist for Partner / Dependent H4 Visa

Bonafide Letter from the employer .
I-797 and I-129 copies .
Bank Statements for last 6 months.
W2 Forms for last 2 years .
Pay-slips for last 3 months.
Utility Bills .
Letter from the sponsor confirming the relationship status.
