Canada PR : Quebec skilled worker

Quebec skilled worker is provincial nomination immigration program which enables overseas skilled workers to live and work in Quebec and contribute to its economic growth along with the development of the Quebec job market. It is one of the most popular PNP programs of Canada. The province is situated in the east central zone of Canada and is the only place in the country where French is the predominant language. 

 

The Quebec skilled worker is functioned through Mon project Québec in order to submit an application since January 2016. To quality, an applicant should have sufficient points under the Quebec Immigration selection system. A single (unmarried) applicant should have at least 49 points, while an applicant with a spouse should score at least 57 points.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are required to meet the below eligibility criteria:

• Education : Your qualification should come under the area of Training (AOT) list of Quebec and the qualification should be foreign recognized or equivalent to Quebec diploma.

• Work Experience : Your skilled work experience should be either full time ,part time or internship full-time or part-time work as part of an internship, training or specialization recognized by a diploma, both paid and unpaid in the field related to diploma or area of training within the past 5 years.

• Age :Should not be less than 17 years

• Language Skills : Must have English language skills of not less than CLB 5

• To claim scores for French language, threshold level for learning is level 7 (advanced intermediate) or its equivalent

• Offer of Employment from Quebec Employer

• Sufficient finance to support the family
