Document Checklist for Brazil Visit and Tourist Visa

Applicant Documents for Brazil Visa

  • Original Passport with the validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.

  • Please Note: Attach all old passports (if any).

  • Brazil Visa Application Form: Visa application form has to be filled online and printout of the confirmation page duly signed by the applicant has to be submitted along with the application. 

  • Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-70% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

  • Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

  • Covering-Letter from applicant stating his name, designation, passport number, date of travel and purpose & duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil, New Delhi.

  • Please Note: Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.

  • In case of Visit: An original notarized invitation letter from the invitee along with his passport & visa copy and the copy of RNE (Registro Nacional de Estrangeiros).

Financials:

  • a) Personal Bank Statement for last three months mentioning the Bank’s name and telephone number clearly.

  • b) Personal ITR for last three years.

  • c) Salary Slips for last three months.

  • Applicant under 18 traveling alone: A notarized Consent letter to be duly signed by parents or guardians along with the proof of guardianship.

  • Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary.

  • Hotel Booking: Hotel booking along with Day to Day itinerary.

  • Medical: Applicant has to carry Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.

  • Please Note: The yellow fever certificate has to be issued minimum 10 days prior to the travel only from WHO recognized hospitals.​
