Applicant’s and Employers Document Checklist for Taiwan Work Visa

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months from the intended day of entry into Taiwan and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any)

Photo Specification: Two recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
Covering Letter : Covering-letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit duly signed by authorized signatory and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, New Delhi.
If applying from Chennai: The letter should be addressed to Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, Chennai
Invitation Letter :
- a) Invitation letter from Taiwan should be signed by authorised signatory. Invitation letter should be brought to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) along with the application. Do not fax or email them to TECC.
- b) ID card copy or Registration Certificate Copy of the authorised Signatory.
- c) Details of the contact person in Taiwan
Please Note:
The embassy might ask for invitation letter in Chinese language after reviewing the case, hence it is advisable to submit it with the application initially to avoid delay.
Proof of Occupation : Company registration certificate or Import/Export license issued by government.
Duly signed contract,Work Permit issued by Taiwanese Authority and approval from consular of labour Affairs / MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
Airline Reservation : Confirmed Ticket Itinerary
Proof of Accommodation : Hotel confirmation on Hotel’s letterhead
Financials :
- a) Company’s bank statements for last three months
- b) Personal bank statements for the last three months or salary transactions proof for the last three months
Appointment letter or Contract letter
Medical : Applicant has to provide Health Certificate for Residence Application .
