Brazil Work Visa

Brazil work visa [Type V-Work Long Term]  allows skilled workers to come to Brazil ​ and work for an approved business.

Applicant’s and Employers Document Checklist for  Brazil  Work Visa

  • Passport: Original Passport with the validity of minimum twelve months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping. 

  • Please Note: Attach all old passports (if any).

  • Visa Application Form.

  • Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-70% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm). 

  • Covering-letter from company on its letter head stating the applicant's name, designation, passport number and purpose & duration of visit. 

  • Please Note: The Embassy has advised all applicants to provide a day-to-day agenda for their entire period of stay in Brazil.

  • Invitation Letter: An original notarized invitation letter from the Brazilian Host or inviting company stating the applicant's name & details along with the approval number.

  • Please Note: Approval number will be generated once the application is submitted to the Ministry of Labour in Brazil by the sponsoring company.

  • Police clearance certificate: Original Police clearance certificate (PCC) duly attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.

  • Certificates:

    • a) If Spouse is accompanying, an original marriage certificate attested by HRD & MEA has to be submitted along with the application.

    • b) If Child is accompanying, an original birth certificate attested by HRD & MEA has to be submitted along with the application.

  • Medical: 

    • a) Applicant has to carry an Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.

    • b) Original Health Report of applicant by any MBBS doctor.

    • c) Polio certificate/letter for child between 3 months and 6 years old has to be duly attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi. If the child cannot be inoculated then a notarized letter from the child's physician has to be provided.

  • Please Note: The yellow fever certificate has to be issued minimum 10 days prior to the travel only from WHO recognized hospitals.
